H1B Dependent changing employer while GC is not yet approved...

Hi,

I have filed I131,I765 and I485 through my husband.

My husband is the main applicant and I am the dependent applicant.

I am on a H1B visa now.

Can I now change my employer?

If I change employer now (before approval of EAD, AP and GC), what will the consequences be?

Since I am not the main applicant, will there be no effect of me changing employers now?

Very soon I will be getting my EAD.Is it safe to wait untill I get my EAD and not change employers now?

Could you please give your suggesstions?..

Since your a derivative of the primary applicant, changing your employers/h1b should not be a problem and will not effect your or your spouse's GC process in anyway.

You can file for a h1b transfer or wait for EAD and start working for anybody.

As a dependent, there is no problem whatsoever with changing employers.
