articfish
Dear members, Greetings. Here is my situation - I got H1B approved in 2008 (have a copy of I797) but never used it with the employer who applied (B) I came to US on L1A through employer A. Now my I94 is expiring in couple of months and employer A has applied for an extension. Few questions - Is my I797 gotten in 2008 still usable? Is it possible for me to contact any other employer (other than B, who originally applied) for a transfer of H1B petition (i only have a copy of I797 which i got from the employer way back in 2008). Please keep in mind i won't have a paystub with the employer B since i never used the H1B , but can produce L1 A paystubs. If i did not make my case clear please let me know and i shall be able to give any required information. Thanks Link to comment
