PERM question

Posting for a friend:

PERM was filed under name of Company A. Company A separates out its business into 2 parts with following names: "Company A" and "Company B":

1) What happens if the beneficiary becomes employee of Company B (while PERM pending)

2) What happens if the beneficiary becomes employee of Company B (after PERM approved but before filing I140)

I'm sure there is no impact if the employee can remain employee of Company A but let me know if otherwise.
