rahul22july
I have L1 B visa valid till Apr 2013. But my I94 expired in mar 2012 this year. Subsequently,I applied for L1 B extension in feb 2012 and my request just got rejected. What are my options? 1. I need to leave USA straightaway? 2. Since my old L1 B is still valid till apr 2013 next year, can i go outside USA and return so that I can get new I94 on my old L1 B visa? Is this valid? Please help. I need to make some decision asap. Thanks, Link to comment
Attorney_23
Ordinarily, if a foreign national's I-94 has expired and his petition to extend status is denied, he must leave the U.S. immediately. Also, a foreign national visa is ordinarily cancelled automatically upon an overstay of status. I recommend you consult with an experienced attorney as soon as possible. Link to comment
satish.appala
Hi Rahul, I am also facing the similar problem. Could you please let me know what is the final outcome? Can you enter back to US with existing Visa & Petition after I-94 extension is denied? Appreciate your reply on this at the earliest. Thanks, ~Satish Link to comment
