Multiple New H1B petition

Hi,

I got offer from US company through reference and they agreed started the process for filing on April 2nd 2012. Meanwhile my current employer also initiating the H1B process to file during this fiscal year

Please let me know filing new h1b for same person from two different companies allowed? Will it have any impact on Visa.

That should not be a problem.The companies will not know about this and will not impact the visa.

Make sure you dont have any contracts with either of the companies.

so, even after filing for H1-B, if you get a better offer from another company you can file for another h1-b right?

do we need to do anything extra while filing for 2nd h1-b? like adding some extra documentation?

Yes.

Documentation varies from person to person,company to company.

Not sure what you mean by "extra documentation".

That note is for same employee AND same employer, like what *** etc used to do in the past.

You can apply for some person with different employers.
