ravi.sharma1986
Hi, I have my H1b visa (stamped) from Indian company "A'. Hoever, I am yet to travel. Meanwhile, I have an offer from Us company 'B" and they want to transfer my visa. MY concern is ' Do I again need to go through the same procedure ( filling DS-160 and visiting US consulate) ?' The problem here is that I am serving my notice period and I can not take leave to visit the US consulate. Kindly suggest If I have an alternate available. Looking forward to hear from you soon. livliv
If the current Visa in your passport is valid on the date of travel, you can use that and the new company's (B's) approval notice to travel to US to work for B. Link to comment

Thanks livliv!!!! My current visa expires in 2014. So to transfer my Visa from company 'A (INDIA)' to 'B(USA') I do not need to visit the Consulate. May be I am repeating my question but as you know that the Visa is always 'COMPLEX'. Any input will be highly appreciated!!! Note :: I have not traveled to US till now. Thanks, Ravi Link to comment
