L1B to H1B COS possible?

My Situation

1. Applied H1B with consulting company A while in India

2. Meanwhile my Employer B filed L1B and I after stamping I came to USA

3. Now after coming to USA H1B with company A got approved

4. Now I am thinking of looking for job with better company with L1B to H1B COS without CAP.

My Questions

1. Is L1B to H1B COS possible in above situation? (i.e. initial H1B is with different company and I am on L1B?)

2. I do not know my H1B petition number and just have H1B receipt number will it be ok?

3. What if company A withdraw my h1 before my L1B to H1B COS gets filed?

4. What if company A withdraw my h1 before my L1B to H1B COS approved?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
