OPT from community college

Hello everyone.

I am a PhD student on F1 visa. My wife came to US in July 2011 on a F2 visa. She already has a bachelors degree from India. I am planning to get her enrolled into a community college for an associates degree.

My question is, will she be eligible to get an OPT( and CPT ) based on her associates degree?

The reason I am asking this question is, once we use up the OPT from a masters degree we can get another OPT only from an advanced degree like PhD. In my wife's case, since she has already got a bachelors degree (which is advanced than associates) from India, will she be able to get an OPT based on the associates degree?

Since that is community college, it depends on the college if they do or do not do an OPT.

However,her having a degree from india is no way related to her eligibility to get an OPT here.
