mugar
Hi everyone, I changed my status from F-1 to H1b , and received I-797A. After 1 years of working, I went to India to visit relative. When returning, because I am a Canadian citizen too, I didn't need any visa so I just showed I-797A at POE and they issued me the new I-94 valid till end of validity of I-797A. Now that I looked at I-94, there is no notation of employer's name either in from or back. So now I just have I-94 with entry stamp and I-797A with remaining informational slip (the I-94 from I-797A taken away by CBP). Is it normal? Shouldn't I-94 have notation with employer's name? Does this cause problem in GC stage? Of course employer's name is mentioned on I-797A. There is no mentioning of name on passport too. Link to comment
livliv
That's fine. Keep copies of all I-94's for your future records. Link to comment
mugar
Anyone wants to answer me? Is it ok? Or should I go to cbp to get it corrected? Thanks for your time Link to comment
