Possibilities of VISA on hold/denial?

Folks,

Just a small clarification required. I obtained H1B approval. Petition papers were for a different client and now since i got another project, the paper amendment is going on. My company says I will be getting the papers amended for the new project in 4 working weeks time.

Here are my questions.

1. Since there is a change in the client, are there any chances of VISA delay? (i.e. couple of my friends got their passport along with H1B in 3 working days time). Will I also be getting it in the same time? Or Are there chances to put my application under verification process?

2. My passport issued in London (The old one got lost and applied a new one in London). However, I already traveled to US on my B1 once using the same passport and returned India in 7 weeks (though the I94 for 6 months). Can this create any potential blocker for my application hold / denial?
