L1B Extension Rejection - how quickly can I apply for L1A

Hi,

My L1B blanket visa was valid till Nov 11 2011 and Visa extension was applied in Oct 2011, I received RFE in Jan and after replying to RFE on Feb 28th 2012 the extension was denied.

Now I am back in India and want to know how quickly can my organization apply for a L1A visa, is there any cool off period required before applying for L1A visa?

Ordinarily, there is no rule that prevents a person from reapplying for a visa immediately after being denied. That being said, reapplying immediately may not be the wisest decision, depending upon the circumstances. However, it is not prohibited.
