zak74
Hi, I'm currently in one state and I had my H1B extension for 3 years approved in Dec 2010 for 3 years till Dec 2013 (Since I had approved I-140). But I have a new client and assignment in another state in a couple of weeks and will be moving there. Does this require just a new LCA to be filed or also required a new H1B petition? jai5
Yes you will need to amend your H1b petition. Any material change requires amendment and your employer wil do this amendment. Link to comment

Thanks. Does the process involves getting a new I-797 petition with I-94 approved or is just a documentary requirement from the employer side? Link to comment
