H1 RFE to Change of status to H4

Hi There,

I am working for a company from past 7 months and transferred my H1b visa to this company.

As I have some serious health issues and travel issues I am considering to resign Job and change my status to H4.

I was wondering if some one faced similar issue recently and any guidance for me would be really appreciated.

1. Will I be in trouble as my previous company terminated my visa when I gave resignation and my current company applied after 15 days which I dint know... I gave resignation considering my current company has already applied for H1b transfer?

2. Now as I got RFE(A month ago I got RFE requesting additional documents from my current company) is it a good idea to resign and get change of status to H4?
