munugala Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 I am currently working on L1. My spouse (primary applicant on H1) PD got current and we applied for GC. After I get the EAD (as dependent) can I use my EAD to move to new Job? What happens to my L1? Do I need to change my Visa status to H4 to have valid visa and switch my job? Will my spouse H1 gets affected if I start using EAD? Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
kalyan_ac Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 Once you AOD based EAD is approved, you may start/continue to work for anybody. You do not have change any visa or I94 and your spouse's H1 will not get effected. Link to comment
