Are Two PERMS allowed for same employer

EB3 PERM/I-140 approved 2007 & I-485 pending with my employer for 'Application Developer' position.

Now same employer will file for my EB2 Green Card under new 'IT Architect' position.

1. Are 2 PERMs allowed for an employee filed by same employer? (They are for 2 different positions)

2. My EB3 PERM was approved 4 yrs back and does it need to be withdrawn or will it get canceled when same employer files for new EB2 PERM for new position?
