Hey all,

I am currently a licensed pharmacist in SC. I did a 6 year of pharmD program in USA and graduated last year in 2011. Currently I am on 12 months OPT which expires in May 2012. I am working with a chain store pharmacy and they are not willing to sponsor anymore. So I found an independent pharmacy owner who is willing to sponsor my H1b. This company is opening a new pharmacy and it will be a brand new co-operation. My only concern is "What are the chances of denying an H1b under a new co-operation??? Do you know anyone who has done H1b on a new pharmacy/new co-operation???? Is it safe to do H1b under a new co-operation??

Any information shared will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks a lot!!!!

Hi NewRph

I'm a recent Pharm.D graduate as well and I work for a small independent pharmacy opened 6 years ago. I don't think it should be a problem if you work for a start up as long as your sponsor can prove that he can pay your salary by providing tax returns for last 2 or 3 years. That's just my thought
