Hello,

1.I am on H1b with my current employer. My employer haven't paid 1 paycheck in past month. I have 3 year contract. Now 1 year is remaining. Can I break it and join new Company?

2.What is advisable notice period to employer before i change my job?

3.what worst could happen in breaking contract with desi employer?

As JoeF has always said, file the complaint with the DOL.

Find an amployer who is willing to file for H1. If the issue of paystubs arises, give them all that you have. If they ask for more, say employer has no money to pay me.

As for the contract, that sould be discussed with a labor lawyer. It could probably be argued that the employer broke the contract by not paying the salary.
