I have applied for a green card on the EB3 track - my priority dates back to 2003.

What determines my eligibility to stay in the US? I have a valid EAD (not expired)

if you have a pending I-485, you can stay in the US while waiting for a decision (AOS pending status). I-485 approval is subject to eligibility of criteria, for example if your I-485 is an employment based I-140, you will need a future permanent position once your I-485 is approved based on the terms of I-140.
