L1B to H1B Conversion

Hi,

I am in L1B with my current employer. The Visa expires on Oct 6 2012. I have to file the extension on the same.

I got employer B, and he is going to file H1B for me under 2012 cap. I have been informed that I can work with employer B, once my H1 petition got approved.

Shall the extension (L1B) and Conversion to H1B process on same time?

Any idea, when the H1B approval will come?

After getting th H1B approval, shall i work with my current employer until Oct.

Please advise.
