7th yr H1B extension - i140 from Prev Employer

Hello,

I changed my employer from A to B in Nov 2011. I have an approved i140 from old employer(A) and my Priority Dt is June 2010.

My New I797 valid till Nov02 2012

My Old I797 valid till Oct 2014.

MY 6 years term completes on July 7th 2012.

If i have to get a 7th year extension :

1) Do i need to get an approved i 140 from my new employer (A)?

OR

2) Is it sufficient enough to get my 7th year extension if o already have my approved I 140 from my previous employer(A).

My current employer(B) started the PERM process in Jan 2nd week.
