Change of employer in L1A 6th year

Hi

I am in US since Jun 2006 on L1A which expires in Mar 2013. My present US client is willing to recruit me. However, I will not be eligible for H1b this April since I will complete 6 years in Jun 2012. What is my best option ?. I don't want to leave US since my family is here. My husband's H1B is valid until Sep 2014 and will be also be completing his 6 years in H1b Sep 2014. Neither of us have GC started. Please help with an advise.
