Sunidhi Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 My 6 yrs H1 was to get over on Jan 8, 2012. The I140 was not approved then. I applied for H4 visa on Jan 3, 2012 and stopped working on Jan 3. H4 got approved a couple of days back. Now, after my I 140 is approved, can I apply for a 3yrs extension based on those 5 days of remaining H1 (Jan 4 - Jan 8)? Did my H4 begin on the day it was applied (Jan 3) or the day it was approved (March 2)? Link to comment
