Concurrent H1B

Hello everyone,

I am a physician resident currently on a cap exempt H1 B which expires on sep 5,2011. I wish to join a hospitalist job with a for- profit organization . I have heard of a concurrent H1b with the second h1b starting with a one week overlap with residency,

to avoid going under cap so that i dont have to wait until october to start.

Is it a safe method to pursue or is it risky.

will it affect the chances of green card issuance in the future.
