Roles and Responsiblities Change During GC Process - Need Advice

Hi - I am working in indian company and they filed my GC under EB3 category around 4 years back. My roles and responsiblities and Designation got changed last year and my H1 LCA was approved with new roles and responsiblities and new designation. Right now, i am having H1 with new roles and responsiblities and new designation than mentioned in PERM.

What i understood is that, i must match PERM designation and current designation in order to apply for I-485. Is that true? if this is correct assumption, Do i need to apply for new PERM or Amendment of existing PERM? Please advice.

You have to port your PERM from EB3 to EB2 before you think about I-485.
