EB3 2007 Fiasco

EB2 28 DEC approved

Lazy attorney sends interfiling mail on 01/28

Raised on SR on whether interfiling took place on 02/02

Got a mail response on 02/25 as follows

"Our computer systerns show that your petition/application is still pending Servicc consideration. If addilional

inlbrnration is needed. you will be contacted by rrrail upon review of yourcase"

I send this message to my attorney asking if i should approach congressional help.

She insisted, it's too early.

She said, she will send a follow up email asking what the above means since the message is vague

Per her interpretation, the message doesn't say "Visa Unavailable". So, interfiling may have taken place.

Wondering what I should next.

My attorney is not in favor of me approaching senator/congressional office

Please advice asap.

It is true, if the interfiling did not take place, the message would say that the visa is not availble.

I would not approach congressional representatives right away. Wait for a 2-4 more weeks, and if nothing happens, file a case problem report with the CIS Ombudsman.
