Birth Certificate for Spouse's Green Card

My wife's birth certificate from India has her parents names listed with initials of their last names instead of their expanded names. Due to currently strained relationship with her parents, they are declining to sign any affidavit of birth confirmation as is advised for an approved secondary document for I 485. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on what other documents could be used in lieu of this birth certificate or the parents affidavit thereof? She has a name expansion affidavit from India stating the expanded names of her, and her parents, dated 2006. She also holds a valid Indian drivers license but that does not contain her parents expanded names. Our priority date is approaching and we want to be proactive for the I 485 application. Please advise.
