immiquestion12
I am currently working full time with non-profit organization on H1b. My current organization is not doing well with regards to financial situation. There is a possibility of downsizing/restructuring of the organization. Meanwhile, I came across a job opportunity at a for-profit institute but they are looking someone who could start as soon as possible. My questions are as follows: - Can I accept the offer to work in for-profit institute? How would H1b cap affect my new job? - I read about concurrent H1b visa on forums/websites. Would that be an advisable route to pursue? - If I do lose by non-profit organization job, how will it affect my other job with new employer (assuming that my petition for new employer got approved?). - Would there be any travel restrictions while on concurrent H1b? Would I need to get a new visa stamped after concurrent H1b visa approval? thanks in advance. Link to comment
