mashcon
I'm working at a university on an uncapped H1B. Is it possible and legal to have another employer (including consultants) to file for a capped H1B for me? Also, assuming the capped H1B gets approved, how long can I work at the university without actually switching to the industry (capped H1B)? On the same lines, can I have two approved H1Bs (one capped and the other uncapped) at the same time? Link to comment
JoeF
A non-cap-exempt employer can file an H1 for you from April 1 on, for an Oct. 1 start date. You would have to work in your current job until the new H1 starts. Link to comment
