libra09
Hi Friends, I have a situation here: 1) I was in India for short vacation when my company filed my H1B extension. 2) I re-entered into USA before my H1B extension got approved with the New I-94 number(With Old validity). 3) I got the H1B extension with OLD I-94 number But with the extended date. Is there any issue about my status? Is my extension valid with Old I-94 number but with the extended date? Thanks, Vidhya Link to comment
kalyan_ac
The latest I94 that you have(from H1b approval) is the one you need and is the valid one now. No need to worry you just have your status extended with the latest date on it. Link to comment

Hello, I have similar situation as above.. 1) I went to india in Jan(Submitted the Old I94 at US Airport) and came back on March 1st and got the New I94 which expires on September 30th 2012 2) I have applied for h1 extension on June 11th got it approval email today with the Old I94 which i had before going to india 3) I have attached the Recent I94 document with the Application...dont know what went wrong how they have given me the Old I94 on extension Approval Email So i am worried...will this cause any issues with my status during the stay in US.. How can we ask USCIS to correct the new I94 info on i797 approval Document and how much time would that take to get updated?...and now which one is the correct I94? Thanks in Advance, Raj Link to comment
