Issue with non availability of birth certificate

Hi Friends,

I came to know that Birth certificate or non availability of birth certificate is one of the docs required for I485 filing. As I donot have a birth certificate(birth is not regd), I went ahead and got the non availability of birth certificate from my local municipality.

The issue is that ,the certificate which was provided, doesnot have my name. It has been mentioned as 'male child' instead of my name. My parents name and DOB was listed in the certificate properly. Upon checking with municipality, they are saying this is the standard format in which they are issuing the certificate now a days and name cannot be added.

will this be a problem? can I use this certificate for 485 filing? Any alternatives. Please respond.
