I140-Amedment- Successor in Interest- be filled as Premium Processing?

My company was an independent business unit of Fortune 500 company. Due to reorg, that division was Acquired and became independent pvt company.

I had approved I140 with fortune 500 company. Can my new company file for I140 amendment - Successor in Interest in Premium Processing?

I was told that I140 PP can be only filed with Original Labor approval which is with my first I140. Is that valid?
