H-1B Visa

Hello,

I am working on H-1B visa with one company.

I graduated from a US university with PhD degree last year. My department has offered me Adjunct faculty position (non-salaried) but they will reimburse me only for travel expenses.

Do I need to get another H-1 visa (through university) even if it is non-salary position ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For non salaried position there is no H1b visa, but still you may continue this as a community work under some provision which allows you to perform such things.

reimbersment can not be considered as a salary, and 100% tax exempted.
