Job Description change just for EB2

Hi,

I went through couple of posts ..but I couldn't find one..

My Job Description says "Bachelors with 3 to 5 yrs"..

But when I consulted my V.P,, he said he can change it to Masters required..& apply under Eb2..

My Immigration department is opposing it...

It it possible to change the Job Description just for EB2??

Will there be any complications involved???

The manager can change it. The manager is the one who gives requirement/job description.

As long as the requirement states Masters you can apply under EB2.

Thanks for thr reply...I have been working for 2 years in the same job. I heard from my friend that it's not possible..& the immigration officials were saying that it will be fraud..Any suggestions???

It would have to be a promotion. Just changing some words is not going to work. There would have to be a justification why the job all of a sudden requires an advanced degree.

In other words, it would have to be a different job, i.e., a promotion. And even then, to be able to use EB2 in the same company, the new job would have to be at least 50% different from the old one.
