Married filing GC singly

Hi,

I am married for 18 months and my wife is currently on F-1. Can I file for my GC by myself without including her at this point and add her to the my GC petition at a later stage?

Will this create any problem as to - why I did not include her to begin with?

If so, what would the step when I will be able to add her?

What does "filing for your GC" mean? There are different stages. In which stage are you?

If you are at the I-485 stage, your spouse can file an I-485 herself. Why would she not do that?

Generally people add the spouse at the I485 satge.

Not sure why you dont want to add her if you are already married.
