Can Previous employer file I-485

Hi,

Please help

I was working with Company A for 4 yrs , my PERM and I-140 was approved with company A

PD: Jan 2010. I was layedoff as the company had financial trouble last month.

I later got a job with a new company B , they filed for my H1B ,

Now my priority date is current based on my I140 from company A.

my questions:-

1) Can I file I485 , if my previous employer provides a letter of support for future employment ?

2) Will I need to go back and work for company A after I get green card?

3) Can AC21 be used to transfer the 485 application after 180 days to my new employer?

Kindly help , I need the experts opinion in this forum.

Yes to all, however, if you go all the way to AC21, you may have some explaining to do about the honesty of your intent [at the time of I-485 filing] to take a job with A after approval.
