aptuz
Indian passports does not have a distinction between middle and first name. For example, my passport has my given name as XABC YDEF. When my employer verified me via eVerify my first name was XABC and my middle name is YDEF. I got my PERM approved but the PERM has my first name as YDEF and middle name as XABC. The middle and first name got interchanged. I have the correct last name though. Should this be a problem any time in future? What are my options? Should I be even worried? What are its implications on my I140, 485 and GC? Please advise. Link to comment
bubbles5676
Your PERM and all those other documents should match exactly what's in your passport. I am not sure if it will be a huge issue but you might actually run into delays when they start to verify your identity. I think you should talk to your lawyer about it. Link to comment
