May be it got lost in mail or something. So now my question is, can we go for visa interview with I 797 C or not? Thanks for help in advance. Link to comment
kalyan_ac
You got the I797C because you are not in the states which is called consular processing. You will have to go to stamping and you will get a new I94 at the POE. Link to comment
noauditplz
I 797 C is a courtesy copy aka notice to the beneficiary on approval. your employer/attorney will have I797B. Please check with them. Consulates will not accept I797C for visa stamping. Link to comment
