Changing jobs after receiving green card

Hi,

I had filed for AOS on Nov 3rd 2011 and got the approval on Feb 6, 2012 and got the green card in the mail on Feb 10, 2012. I am thinking of changing jobs. Is is true that it is not advisable to change your job until 6 months or so after you receive th green card? I was interviewing with a company and was going to move even before I filed for AOS but since the priority date sarted moving fast, I did not move and filed for the last stage. Now the company has shown expressed interest again. Please advise.

The general recommendation is not move around between 6 months- 1yr after you receive your GC.
