Adding Spouse name after applying for I-485

Hello,

As you all know, EB2 moved to May 2010. My PD date became current which is March 2010 with EB2 category.

I am single and currently in the prospects of getting married sometime this year, so:

1. Can I go ahead and file I-485 or Is it best to wait till I get married ?

2. Lets say, If I go ahead now and file my I485 -

• If I married to a girl who is currently living in India, will it be a problem to add her to name to I-485?
  
• If I married to a girl who is currently living in USA(H1 or F1),will it be easy to add her name to I-485?
  
• How can I add my spouse name to I-485 after I applied for I-485?

There is no such thing as "adding" anyone to I-485, let alone adding somebody's name!

Everyone files his or her own I-485. Your spouse will be eligible to file as your EB derivative (regardless of AOS or CP) if you are married before your approval. If not, you will have to sponsor your spouse through Family Based immigration, which will take 3-5 years. Nobody's in a position to tell you what you should do.
