krishna.msdev@gmail.com
Hi, I am currently working on H1B. I need to help one of my cousin who is in India has a company in US. I need to create a bank account and do thier transations from US. For this they are going to give power of attorney to me. I am not doing this for money or i am not going to do any work for them, i just open an account of his company using my SSN. They are going to pay the taxes and everything. My question is can H1B holder take power of attorney and participate in such kind of activities? I will be greatful for your help. Thank You, Krishna. . Link to comment
JoeF
That is work, and you can not do that. On H1, you can only work for your employer. It doesn't matter if you do it for free, it is not allowed. And it has nothing to do with power of attorney, either. You can not do this, period. Link to comment
