So my company is planning to apply for transfer my L1B to H1B on April, so my question here is 1. How much time will take for H1B approval? 2. If my H1B approves, when can i start working? what i heard is H1B approval will start from Oct, if that is correct my L1B is going to expire on July, i need to wait till oct' or what was the other options i have? some can please respond my post ASAP. JoeF Posted February 10, 2012 Report Share Posted February 10, 2012 The earliest an employer can file an H1 application is on April 1, and the earliest start date is Oct. 1. Until then, you would have to maintain your current status, or leave the country. Link to comment
