221G Green from Chennai Consulate Passport not marked to submit

In the interview for H1B Visa Renewal,they issue a 221 form asking me to submit more documnts. The confusion is in the second page of 221G, they writen "When You Submit this Information you will also need to include"

Passport

DS-160

.....

.....etc.

They marked all the list including DS-160, ..etc. However they didnot marked the Passport.

My question is do I need to submit the Passport along with other documents? Because I remember the officer asked me to submit the passport also. But in 221G, he didnot marked it.

there is no harm in submitting the passport when VO has asked you, who knows you get it with visa stamped :) good luck.

Hi all,

I went to Chennai US consulate for H1b visa stamping on Dec 5th 2011. I got 221g green asking for more documents. I submitted those docs on Dec. 6th to VFS in Chennai by hand.

I am in EVC model and I am still waiting for reply from Consulate.

Everytime I call VFS and I get the same reply "Under administrative Processing".

Its been 4months and I am frustrated waiting.

So, I am planning to look for another employer who can file a new H1 petition on my regard.

Please suggest if I can go ahead look for another employer who can file a petition for me or should I wait until I get reply from Consulate.
