Filing for spouse

Hi all,

I have read GC process but still not clear on one point as below

I am on h1b and my employer started my GC process . My spouse is working for another company on L1a and his visa ( with all extensions etc) will expire in dec 2013 or so. His company not doing GC for him. Can I file I485 for him even though he is independently working?

Should I file for CP for him and AOS for md whoever it is to be filed ??

Please guide the best option as we just had a baby and looking for something so we don't have to live separately

When your PD is current, he can file an I-485 if he is in the US in valid status.

You can't file for him, but he can. Your husband should get a consultation with a lawyer.
