H1 to H4

Hi,

I am currently on H1 & my I94 is expiring on 02/14/2012.

I am planning to apply for COS to H4 through my spouse's employer on 02/09/2012 on premium processing. (My spouse is changing his company and his transfer is going through premium processing and my COS will also be filed along with his)

I have below doubts:

1. To be on safe side, can I file my H1 extension through my current employer(they will file it on 02/14 only) under normal processing and my COS to H4 through premium processing together. Is it allowed

2. In case my H4 gets approved, what is procedure to withdraw petition for my H1 extension

3. If I don't apply H1 extension and only COS to H4:

- Till which date I can continue to work(I assume till 02/14/2012). Can I still work after I94 expiry but till point COS is approved

- Do i need to stop working immediately after application is filed?
