Can company file GC based on EB2

Till this date my company has been filling GC for EB2 category only for Bachelors with 5 years of progressive experience. My company does not have any policy that says not to file GC for EB2 category for Msater's Degree holders. I know one thing is if the company wants to file GC based on masters it should mention Master's Degree in the requirement.

My company's concern is, they have been filing GC for EB2 on the base of bachelors + 5 and they dont know if they can file for EB2 based on masters with different title(that requires masters) that is not conflicting with the bachelor's + 5 years position.

Does that mean if the company has been applying/hiring(minimum bachelors degree) for GC(EB2) based on bachelors they can never apply based on Masers ?
