Going for H4 consulate interview [and H1 petition is approved just now]

Hello Guys,

I am on H1 visa currently and I applied for H4 for my wife recently and planning to get interview date next week.

Few months back, one of the company filed petition for H1 visa for my wife [before marriage] and petition got approval of petition last week [after we started process for H4 visa].

I have couple of questions on this:

1) Will she have any issue [Regarding recent H1 petition] while she appear consulate interview for H4 visa?

2) Once she fly to US on H4 visa, how can we do COS from H4 to H1 [new I797 which will come in few days]. Does she have to fly out of US for COS? If so, any requirement to go to country of origin [india] ??

I read couple of other posts but can't see clear answer on above questions, so posting it here.
