Applying H1B after Visitor Visa rejection under 214B

Hi,

My husband and I applied for US Visitor visa in August 2011, but that got rejected under 214b.

VO didn't even open my passport. she only asked 2-3 questions to my husband and rejected our Visa.

We both are software professionals with 7+ yrs of experience and are working in leading MNCs in India. We both have travelled to different countries in past as well for work. My husband ravelled to Canada, UK and I travelled to UK, Taiwan.

We both are currently in UK for work from our respective companies.

Now we both are planning to apply for H1B visa.

Can anyone tell does rejection of visitor visa previously has any impact on H1B processing?

Also if in case one of us get H1B, then what are the chances that spouse can get H4?
