uday123
After I signed and submitted my DS-160, I realized I have entered my previous employer's address wrong. That previous employer is within one year ago. Is this going to be a problem? My interview is next week at Toronto.......Please advise. Link to comment
AxialTilt
DS-160 should always be accurate, try to re-schedule the appointment by creating new DS-160. You can still go with the current one if you want, but it is not worth the risk clearly. IT is very simple and up to you, do you want to take the risk or not? If not , re-schedule is my sincere advise. Link to comment
uday123
Thank you bobby. I don't want to take risk either, but the appointments are not immediately available. I have a family urgency situation and got to go. I think I will take the risk. What a pain with these stampings!!!! Link to comment
Krish13
As far i know this shouldnt be that difficult to change. You can always call the call center for toronto consulate and have them changed. I made a small typo in my appication and called them the next day and got it changed. Link to comment

h1bvisaincanda
Hey ambvar, I called too they did not respond. Email them. I got a response saying it's ok and go over there and make changes if it's one simple mistake. I am taking a print out of the letter from embassy as well to make sure they know I tried contacting them. :) Regards. Link to comment

mar2010er
My wife was working for a US consulting company on H1B, she went to India on 2013 for vacation, during visa stamping she was given 221g and got a later refusal letter stating that the employer doesn't seem to provide employment by US laws and regulations, apparently, she was not paid during her maternal leave that had ticked the officer. After getting 221g, she got H4 visa stamped as I have an H1B and travelled to US. Now, she is a full-time employee of another US based company on H1B. She went to India last week for a vacation and faced H1B visa stamping. She was again given 221g. This time because of our oversight as we did not check "have you ever been refused a US Visa" check-box in DS160. When the Officer asked her during the interview about previous refusal, she told him what had happened. Please advice on if there could be anything that could be done, besides waiting for 221g.
