H1B Stamping in Matamoros,Mexico

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Visa stamping @ matamoros,Mexico. I need help regarding the appointment and PIMS verification. My last visa was stamped was in india 2 years ago. And I have joined fultime recently 3 months ago. Kindly any suggestion.

Can you please let me know if you went to Matamoros for visa stamping? How did it go? Since you are FTE, it should have gone perfect. Can i know whats your suggestion abt a Guy like me who is into EVC model to go for H1B extension stamping here?

Went to matamoros 11th feb 2013 for interview on 12th feb for H1b transfer stamping

My Visa interview went like this

VO: Good morning

She looked at DS160 and saw H1b written on it and went to other VO at separate counter and came back after couple of min.

VO: are you in Vendor client job

I: No, I am full time direct hire

She checked my last H1B and confirmed with me that so this is your last H1B

VO: whats the name of your company?answered

VO: What do they actually do? Answered about engineering services my company provided in details

VO: what exactly that is PLCs, Drives,HMIs and what are they used for?please explain

I explained her briefly about it. I offered her to see the Brochure of my company. She said No, No its okay she got it.

VO: how much is your yearly income? Answered

VO: what is your degree in?Answered

VO: which university you obtained it from?answered

VO: What visa status is your wife on?answered

VO: where is she working in US?answered

VO: which university did she graduated from and what is her degree in?answered

VO: when did you left your last company and when did you started working for your new employer?answered

VO: have they filed for your GC?

Answered

VO: ok we will try our best to give you the passport today by 3pm .please check at that time or else it will be tomorrow.
