I140 Qns

Hi,

I have applied for my I140 (march 2011) and waiting for approval , what if now I change the company ? Will I be able to keep the same priority dates (july 2010) ? How do I get the I140 receipt number if my employer doesnt provide me that ?

If the same kind of qns have been answered please give me the link since I am kind of new to the forum.

You can keep the priority date from an approved I-140. If the employer withdraws while the petition is pending, the date is lost. The only way to get I-140 details if the sponsor does not cooperate is through an FOIA request.

You may decide that moving on is worth it in any case. I would.
